This new fund gives UK retail investors access to Martin Currie’s top-performing China team

Martin Currie, the specialist active equity manager, today announces that its new fund providing active management of Chinese equities is open to investors. This new fund gives UK retail investors access to Martin Currie’s top-performing China team.

 

The Martin Currie China Fund is managed by James Chong, Director, who has 15 years’ investment experience. The fund is a 40–60-stock, multi-cap portfolio of Martin Currie’s best investment ideas across China and Hong Kong. Its benchmark is the MSCI Zhong Hua index, and the fund’s annual management charge is 1.5% for the retail ‘A’ share class and 1% for the institutional ‘B’ share class. The initial charge is 5%.
