Morgan Stanley's Martin Tell retires
Martin Tell, Morgan Stanley's head of securities lending North America has decided to retire. Tell, who has been with Morgan Stanley for 20 years, will remain with the prime broker till the end of the year to ensure an easy transition. Morgan has been undergoing a restructuring since early this year integrating its equities and fixed income businesses. The broker decided to consolidate the financing businesses under one platform called Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Financing. This consolidated structure will include equity securities lending and the fixed income financing desk. And as a result Tom Wipf will become the Global Head of ISG Financing.
Mark Weeks switches sides
